This program aims to provide the student with a sound understanding of Airport Business environment. Students are introduced to the airport industry, ways in which airports are planned and developed, the methods of obtaining revenue and identifying and controlling costs etc.

1. Introduction to airport sTRUCTURE
This module will provide an overview of airport operating environment. Students will learn about the airport categories, ownership structure, airport governance & organizational structure, and various departments and functions within a typical airport organization.
2. Business Fundamentals for aviation managers
This module is designed prepare airline managers to learn and develop highly in demand business skills such as; accounting, marketing, balanced scorecard, and project management.
3. essentials of Airport economics & finance
The airport operating environment cannot be navigated without a thorough understanding of how business decisions are and should be taken. The main objective of this module is to enable students to approach managerial decision problems using economic and financial intelligence. You will learn the fundamentals for airport economics & Finance, including analyzing travel demand, cost and revenue structure, pricing policies and financial statements.
4. Airport performance measurement
In this module, you will learn how airports measure their performance, the categories of key performance areas and what are the basic steps a typical airport should take to develop, implement, and refine their performance management systems.
5. AIRPORT Marketing & Air Services Development
In this module, you will gain deeper understanding of marketing and learn how to analyze marketing environment, what the strategic options are, and how to develop and implement a marketing plan.

Although our courses are ‘self-paced’, still there will be assignment submission deadlines and minimum study time requirements for each module. There are total 5 study modules and the average minimum study time requirement for each module varies between 4-6 weeks. There are no exceptions.

The Airport Business & Economics Program must be completed within the period of 12 months.

Completion Criteria |
In order for your course to be considered complete, all 'required' coursework must be attempted and submitted regardless of your overall score in the course. Required course work may consist of participation in online discussions, watching a video, reading an article, or other graded and ungraded assignments. You will receive a final score for the course after all of the assessments and required assignments have been completed.
